WeWork and Virtuzone announce UAE partnership, bringing together the best in innovative work spaces and company formation

May 17, 2020

(Dubai, UAE: 17 May 2020): WeWork, the world’s leading co-working and space-as-a-service platform, and Virtuzone, the leading company formation specialists in the UAE, have exclusively partnered to bring companies and aspiring entrepreneurs the best in flexible workspaces and company licensing.

Over the last 10 years, the two companies have reached a large number of milestones. Virtuzone pioneered the company formation industry, making it simple and straightforward for anyone to start a business in the UAE. By now, more than 30,000 entrepreneurs have used their services. WeWork’s expansion into Dubai, an innovation hub and home to local and foreign businesses alike, was driven by strong market demand for space that supports productivity, community, and growth for companies of all sizes. WeWork operates over 800 locations in more than 25 countries worldwide.

The partnership is the first of its kind that WeWork has entered with a company formation agency. Through the collaboration, entrepreneurs can set up their businesses in the Dubai World Trade Centre Free Zone (DWTC), one of the most prominent free zones in the UAE, starting from AED 29,995. With multiple packages available, clients can get their trade license, visas and access to WeWork spaces around the world, all in one place.

Speaking of the partnership, George Hojeige, CEO of Virtuzone, said:

“The economic impact of COVID-19 means that companies have to innovate and operate cost-efficiently to improve their value proposition and achieve sustainable growth. WeWork guarantees that our clients will benefit from workspaces that have full amenities and are situated in one of the most convenient locations within the UAE. Our partnership also provides startups and entrepreneurs with low-cost alternatives to traditional workspaces and highly flexible payment structures.”

WeWork has tailored its business model to meet the needs of startups and entrepreneurs by expanding its core platform globally, taking market-driven approaches and including end-to-end solutions with long-term or short lease arrangements. All of their spaces are move-in ready to minimize the hassle for anyone looking for an attractive place to work from.

The partnership ensures that all WeWork members get access to the best and most convenient company formation services. Riad Thoumas, WeWork GM for the Middle East added:

“Our partnership with Virtuzone further demonstrates our commitment to providing turn-key solutions for our members. Now more than ever, businesses globally are being tested for their ability to adapt to the new realities our world is facing post COVID-19. We have been reviewing member feedback and working with industry partners across all sectors to ensure the ease of returning to work quickly and safely. Together, we have developed a plan for the future of the workplace which focuses on licensing, professional distancing, cleanliness, and house rules for health.”
